"Shit boy, you're livin' the dream! A guy doin another guy is like drivin' a car with two gas peddles and no brake! Yeah, Stick it in!"

-My Dad

Brad Loekle has hit the scene in recent years as one of the freshest and wildest gay comedians in America.

He was born and raised in a small town in Upstate New York to a mild mannered accountant mother and a truck drivin’, Harley ridin’, hard drinkin’ redneck father. Comedy, amongst other things, was in his blood!

He can currently be seen weekly on TruTV’s new original series The Smoking Gun Presents... This "Best Week Ever" style show features celebrities and comedians giving their take on some of the most outrageous criminal video footage there is. Mr. Loekle is enjoying two seasons of success with TruTV and is currently signed on board through season 3 of this series.

In the world of radio, Brad can be heard every Wednesday morning tearing up the airwaves with some “free speech” as a guest co-host on Sirius Radio’s OUT Q in the morning (7-11AM/ Ch.109). As America’s premier GLBT radio station, Sirius OutQ reaches millions of listeners every day across the nation and the world!

For those more inclined to the written word, Brad is a columnist for the Key West Gay Rag, a monthly publication exclusively for the queer community on Key West, Florida. His op-ed pieces speak on everything from political issues facing the gay community to his sexual escapades as he traverses the country. When he’s not writing about himself, he opens his arms and his heart to the readers of The Rag in his “Ask Nana” column. Here he channels his inner “Mame” and gives no holds barred advice from the point of view of his alter ego “Nana”: a 70-something year old Jewish fruit fly, living in Southern Florida.

And then there is always Brad’s first love: Live Performance! Every Sunday night he holds court over NYC’s longest running weekly GLBT comedy show & the most popular comedy show in Hell’s Kitchen. The Electro-Shock Therapy Comedy Hour has been featured in the New York Times, Time Out NY, HX, Next, and countless other publications and websites.

As a comedian has opened for the likes of Darryl Hammond (Saturday Night Live),  Jessica Kirson (Last Comic Standing),  Nancy Witter (Nick at Nite’s Search for America’s Funniest Mom), and Frank DeCaro (The Daily Show). In New York, he is a regular at clubs such as Carolines, Comix, and Gotham Comedy Club. He has also toured the country, and the world, performing at night clubs, casinos, colleges and resorts. (If you build a stage, he will come…)

For 3 years Brad was the comedian-in-residence at the Ice Palace on Fire Island. He co-hosted and produced the longest running GLBT variety show on Fire Island: The Kamikaze Kabaret. This led to Mr. Loekle’s knack for performing in gay vacation spots across the globe. From Fire Island to Key West and the Pocono’s to Puerto Vallarta, Brad has crossed the continent headlining wherever there is sun, sand, and “sisters”.

Be it talking about his insane childhood and upbringing as America's premiere gay redneck, how his father believes only gays can end the war in Iraq, or the pros and cons of having a vagina installed on his hip to keep from losing his chap stick; he has proven himself a true comic star on the rise. Don't take our word for it... just see what these folks have to say....
